First, a conversation.
45 minutes, free, and nothing is booked at the end of it unless you want it to be.
A DEXA scan is not for everyone, and the honest way to find that out is to ask. In this session we walk you through the approach, what the four measurements can tell you, and — just as important — what they cannot. There is room for whatever you want to ask.
You speak with Jeroen or Ernst. It takes about 45 minutes and there is no cost and no obligation. If a scan turns out not to fit your situation, that is a useful outcome too.
What we go through
- What a DEXA scan measures, and why fat distribution says more than fat mass
- Whether your situation is one where a scan is likely to tell you something
- What happens after: the report, the conversation about it, and what you can do with it
- Anything you want to ask, including the things people usually do not ask out loud
How to sign up
Signing up does not run through this site yet. That is the honest state of things: the sessions are held weekly, but there is no calendar behind this page. Until there is, get in touch and we will find a moment.
If you already know you want the scan, you can go straight to the request. Sometimes you can pick a moment straight away; if your answers need a closer look, a physician goes through them first. Either way, the scan itself ends in a conversation about your report.
Rather go straight to the scan?
The request starts with a few questions. Sometimes you can pick a moment straight away; if your answers need a closer look, a physician goes through them first.
